Professional Background:
Hi, I’m Anthony. In 2024 I completed my bachelor’s degree in science and biomedical science at Monash with a major in chemistry. I then joined the Robinson group under Prof. Andrea Robinson in 2025 for honours, where my project focused on improving the in vivo stability and activity of therapeutic peptides through the replacement of disulfide bridges with alkyne carbon-based alternatives.
Research Interests:
Inspired by my work in honours, I commenced my PhD in the same group in April of 2026, aiming to complete the synthesis of alkyne-bridged peptides and then use the alkyne as a handle for conjugation with radionuclide chelators and for hydrogenation into alkene and alkane scaffolds.
