Professional Background:

I completed my Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) at the University of Melbourne in 2021. Between my bachelor and Master’s, I worked as a research assistant under Prof. Megan Maher looking into the structures of Timm8a and Timm13 and their potential function. I then went on to complete a Master of Science (Chemistry) at the University of Melbourne under Paul Donnelly with my thesis looking at aza-macrocycle derivatives for potential use in nuclear medicine. Following submitting I worked at an analytical laboratory, TraCEEs, located at the University of Melbourne and a mining laboratory. Then I moved into a radiopharmaceutical scientist role at the Austin Hospital in Heidelburg. I worked at the Austin for over one year before returning to the University of Melbourne to start my PhD.

Research Interests:

For my PhD project I am continuing to look at potential new chelators for radiometals and antibody drug conjugates.
